You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You need to put them in slope intercept form;
y=mx+b, where m = slope;
X-2/3y=1/4
subtract x from both sides:
-2%2F3y=-x+1%2F4
multiply the reciprocal of 2%2F3 to both sides;
y=-x+1%2F4%28-3%2F2%29
y=3%2F2X-3%2F8
slope = 3%2F2
2X-5Y=0
-5y=-2x+0
y=2%2F5x
slope = 2%2F5

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Y=mX+b IS THE LINE EQUATION WHERE m=SLOPE. NOW PUT YOUR EQUATION IN THIS FORM:
X-2/3Y=1/4
-2/3Y=-X+1/4
Y=-X/(-2/3)+(1/4)/(-2/3) TO DIVIDE BY A FRACTION IN THE DENOMINATOR INVERT THE FRACTION IN THE DENOMINATOR & MULTIPLY BY THE NUMERATOR THUS:
Y=-X(-3/2)+(1/4)(-3/2)
Y=3X/2-3/8 THIS LINE HAS A SLOPE(m)=3/2
-------------------------------------------------------
2X-5Y=0
-5Y=-2X
Y=-2X/-5
Y=2X/5 THIS LINE HAS A SLOPE(m)=2/5
