Determine a solution for the linear inequality graphed here.

A)
(3, 0)
B)
(3, -1)
C)
(0, 0)
D)
(5, 2)

Question 2
Solve and graph the compound inequality.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

from the graph, I see that a graph shaded above solid line you have an inequality, and equation is in form: y%3E=mx%2Bb
also, I see two intercept points:
if x=0 =>y=-2
if x=2 =>y=0
first use equation:
y=mx%2Bb.....and points above to find slope m and y-intercept b
since x=0 =>y=-2, y-intercept b=-2
y=mx-2........plug in x=2 and y=0
0=m%2A2-2
0%2B2=2m-2%2B2
2m=2
m=1
now we know that your inequality is y%3E=x-2
and we can check which of answer options is right solution:
A)
(3,+0)
y%3E=x-2=>0%3E=3-2=>0%3E=1=> it is not your answer

B)
(3, -1)
-1%3E=x-2=>-1%3E=3-2=>-1%3E=1=> it is not your answer
C)
(0, 0)
0%3E=0-2=>highlight%280%3E=-2%29=> this is true, so it is your answer
D)
(5, 2)
2%3E=5-2=>2%3E=3=> it is not your answer
so, your answer is: C (0, 0)

5x+-+5%3E10 or -3x+%2B+1%3E13
5x+%3E10%2B5 or -3x+%3E13-1
5x+%3E15 or -3x+%3E12
x+%3E3 or x+%3C-4
interval solution:
(3, infinity)
(-infinity, -4)
