Multiply by x
4x - 3 = 6x - 5
etc

Add +5%2Fx+ to both sides
+4+-+3%2Fx+%2B+5%2Fx+=+6+
Subtract +4+ from both sides
+5%2Fx+-+3%2Fx+=+2+
Multiply both sides by +x+
+5+-+3+=+2x+
+2x+=+2+
+x+=+1+

+4+-+3%2F1+=+6+-+5%2F1+
+4+-+3+=+6+-+5+

4x - 3 = 6x - 5 ------- Multiplying by LCD, x

4x - 6x = - 5 + 3

- 2x = - 2
