One side of a triangle = 3x
Second side = x
Third side = 14 meters
Perimeter of a triangle = the size of the
three sides added.
86 = 3x + x + 14
4x + 14 = 86
4x = 72
x = 18m
One side = 54m
Second side = 18m
Third side = 14m
Total = 86m
