You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4x + 3y = 12
y = 2x - 6
-------
Substitute for "y" and solve for "x":
4x + 3(2x-6) = 12
4x + 6x - 18 = 12
10x = 30
x = 3
-------
Solve for "y":
y = 2x-6
y = 2*3-6 = 0

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since y+=+2x+-+6
4x+%2B+3y+=+12 could be rewritten as:
4x+%2B+3%282x+-+6%29+=+12
4x+%2B+6x+-+18+=+12
10x+=30
x=3
And,
y+=+2%283%29+-+6
y=0

HOPE THAT HELPS!
