3y-x=5   ⇒  x = green%283y-5%29 

4y+2x=40

4y+2(green%283y-5%29)=40

4y + 6y - 10 = 40

    10y = 50

      y = 5

      x = green%283y-5%29+=+10 

CHECKING our answer***

Using 3y-x = 5

    15-10 = 5
