You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x + y = 6
x = –y + 2
----
Substitute for "x" and solve for "y":
-----------------
-y+2 + y = 6
----
2 = 6
That is a contradiction:
Solution: There is no (x,y) solution for the system.
Why?:: The lines are parallel.
