Four factors, the associative and commutative properties and rule of exponents let us do this:

2%2A3%2A10%5E6%2A10%5E4
6%2A10%5E%286%2B4%29
6%2A10%5E10

or as you are using,
6 x 10^10

When the numbers are in scientific notation form we multiply the mantissas and add the exponents:
(2 x 10^6) x(3 x 10^4)=(2)(3)x 10^(6+4)=6 x 10^10
