You can put this solution on YOUR website!
xy=-12
x-2y+14=0 --> x = 2y-14
------
xy = -12
(2y-14)*y = -12
2y%5E2+-+14y+%2B+12+=+0
y%5E2+-+7y+%2B+6+=+0
etc

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
System:
xy=-12
x-2y+14=0

No need to be stuck. More than one way to go.
xy=-12, gives you y=-12%2Fx. Substitute into other equation.
x-2%28-12%2Fx%29%2B14=0
x%2B24%2Fx%2B14=0
x%5E2%2B24%2B14x=0
x%5E2%2B14x%2B24=0 and solve for x from this.
...

Watch for a possible extraneous value for x, although most likely not important since this is not really an application problem.
