Question 720416: When I solve for x (which I have no problem doing) I must "plug in" the number to one of the equations to find y to complete the solution. Do I plug the x into the original equation or modified one, of which I used elimination to create? Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! It should not matter, but I usually use one of the original equations to find the other variable, then check it in the other original equation using both variables
