You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the midpoint: this is what I don't understand
----------
The x coordinate of the midpoint is the average of the two x values
The y coordinate of the midpoint is the average of the two y values
(0,0) and (-6,8)
midpoint is ( (0+-6)/2,(8+0)/2) = (-3,4
------------------
(-3,5) and (3,-3)
midpoint is ((-3+3)/2, (5+-3)/2) = (0,1)
------

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE X POINTS HERE ARE 0&-6 SO WE DIVIDE THE DIFFERENCE BY 2
(0-6)/2=-6/2=-3 SO WE EITHER ADD A -3 TO THE 0 POINT OR SUBTRACT A -3 FROM THE -6 POINT THUS WE GET -3 FOR THE X COORDINATE.
(8-0)/2=8/2=4 SO WE EITHER ADD THIS TO THE 0 OR SUBTRACT IT FROM THE 8 & WE GET 4 FOR THE Y COORDINATE.(-3,4)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
(-3-3)/2=-6/2=-3 ADD TO THE 3 OR SUBTRACT FROM THE -3 & WE GET 0 FOR THE X COORDINATE
(-3-5)/2=-8/2=-4 ADD TO THE -4 OR SUBTRACT FROM THE 5 & WE GET 1FOR THE Y COORDINATE (0,1)
