You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Substitution
-x+%2B+2%28%281%2F2%29x%2B3%29+=+7 ==> distribute the 2
-x + x + 6 = 7
6+%3C%3E+7
There is not a solution.
...
Upon further review,
one line is highlight%28y=%281%2F2%29x%2B3%29
another line is
-x + 2y = 7
2y = x + 7
highlight%28y=%281%2F2%29x+%2B+7%2F2%29
Both lines have the same slope, therefore, the lines are parallel
and will never intersect, which is why there is no solution.
