Question 639462: I'm not sure if this is in the correct section, but I really need help as soon as possible. I am having trouble with this equation:
a = b + bcd, solve for b
What am I supposed to do? The teacher didn't talk about this, and I have looked back in the book, but I can't figure it out.
Thank you so much!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a = b(1 + cd)
divide both sides by (1 + cd), the result is
a%2F%281+%2B+cd%29=+b or
highlight%28b+=+a%2F%281+%2B+cd%29%29
