Solve the following equations: (Use any method) 



y - 10.7x = -920 

y +  6.9x = -216    | Subtracting the 2nd Eq from 1st to eliminate y

    -17.6x = -704

         x = 40  and y +-920+%2B+10.7%2A40+=++-+492
