Get the equations into the same form
(1) +y+=+%281%2F2%29%2Ax+%2B+1+
and
+2y-+x+=+6+
+2y+=+x+%2B+6+
(2) +y+=+%281%2F2%29%2Ax+%2B+3+
These are straight lines with the same slope which
only differ by a constant.
So, they are parallel lines and have no solution
since they don't intersect
