Substitute equation 1 into equation 2

combine like terms
+4x%2F3+=+-4+
multiply both sides by 3/4

+x+=+-3+

Substitute x = -3 back into equation one
+y+=+2x%2F3+
+y+=+2%28-3%29%2F3+
