Question 591886: Solve the system by any method (substitution or elimination)
1/3x + 1/3y = -3
1/2x - 1/2y = -5/2
I started doing the common denominator and got lost. The problems are super easy to me, but when they have fractions in them they throw me off and I get confused
Thank you for the help

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
clear the fractions first

x + y = -9

x - y = -5
