You can put this solution on YOUR website! Well I have have the graphs you have to choose from.... but I will show you how you could generate this graph:
Let's first look at 3x – 4y = 32. We will isolate y to get it into y=mx+b form:
And now we will do the same thing for 5x + 2y = 10
Remember that once you have the lines in y=mx+b form, you have a point (0,b) for each line and then we can use the slope to get another point.
After graphing both lines we get:
This is the graph you are looking for-- notice that when you solve this system of equations, you are finding the point where these lines intersect.
