You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x+y=16
2x-3y=-4
You have to null either the x or y value when given two equation with this format
so you multiply the top equation by 3.
(3)3x+y=16(3)= 9x+3y=48
9x+3y=48
2x-3y=-4
Now that you have nulled the y value you get x isolated
11x=44 so x=4
now you plug that in to get y
2x-3(4)=-4 then you can solve it as a normal equation.
