You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Because there is only one variable (y), you'll solve for that. First, expand the left side to 6y%2B12-4=-10. Combine like terms to get 6y%2B8=-10. Now subtract 8 from sides to get 6y=-18. Finally, divide both sides by 6 to get y=-3.
