You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2 x -3 y = 4 .............1
5 x + 2 y = -9 .............2
Eliminate y
multiply (1)by 2
Multiply (2) by 3
4 x -6 y = 8
15 x 6 y = -27
Add the two equations
19 x = -19
/ 19
x = -1
plug value of x in (1)
2 x + -3 y = 4
-2 + -3 y = 4
-3 y = 4 + 2
-3 y = 6
y = -2
(-1,-2)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x-3y=4
5x%2B2y=-9
since one y value is negative and other is possitive all we need to do is just get the number before y to be the same number so when adding together they cancel out. i just use the same numbers from other equation
2%282x-3y%29=2%284%29 2y from second equation tells me to multiply by 2
3%285x%2B2y%29=3%28-9%29 3y from first equation tells me to multiply by 3
.multiply
4x-6y=8
15x%2B6y=-27
.add them together
19x=-19
x=-1
.
2x-3y=4
2%28-1%29-3y=4
-2-3y=4
-3y=6
y=-2
.
(-1,-2)
