You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%282x%2B1%29%2F%28x-3%29+=+%284x%2B6%29%2F%282x%2B3%29
Cross multiply
(2x+1)(2x+3)=(4x+6)(x-3)
2x(2x+3)+1(2x+3)=4x(x-3)+6(x-3)
4x^2+6x+2x+3=4x^2-12x+6x-18
14x=-21
x=-21/14
x=-3/2

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve for x: 2x+1/x-3 = 4x+6/2x+3
**
2x+1/x-3 = 4x+6/2x+3
LCD: (x-3)(2x+3)
multiply both sides by the LCD
(2x+3)(2x+1)=(4x+6)(x-3)
expand or distribute
4x^2+8x+3=4x^2-6x-18
combine like terms and set equation=0
-14x+21=0
divide by 7
-2x+3=0
-2x=-3
x=3/2
