You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x%2B3y=-20 Start with the second equation.

2x%2B3%286x%29=-20 Plug in y=6x

2x%2B18x=-20 Multiply

20x=-20 Combine like terms on the left side.

x=%28-20%29%2F%2820%29 Divide both sides by 20 to isolate x.

x=-1 Reduce.

y=6x Go back to the first equation

y=6%28-1%29 Plug in x=-1

y=-6 Multiply

So the solutions are x=-1 and y=-6 which form the ordered pair (-1,-6)
