You can put this solution on YOUR website!
what is the solution for the system of linear equations? and it has 2x-4y=12 and then it says 5x-y= -15. what does it want me to do?
................
you have to find the values of x & y
..
2x-4y=12..............1
5x-y=-15..............2
...
multiply (2) by -4
-20x+4y=60
add this to (1)
2x-20x-4y+4y=12+60
-18x=72
/-18
x=72/-18
%28highlight%28x=-4%29%29
...
plug x=-4 in (1)
2*-4-4y=12
-8-4y=12
4y=-20
/4
%28highlight%28y=-5%29%29
