We will solve this by elimination, that means you want to eliminate one variable so you can solve the equation for the other, you need to add the equations together to be able to eliminate a variable;
Before we do this you need to make one of the variables exact opposites of each other so they cancel out;
So we will multiply 2 to eq.1;
(2)-x-5y=30
-2x-10y=60
Now we can add the equtions together;
-2x-10y=60
2x-7y=25
----------
-17y=85
Now that one variable was eliminated, solve for y;
-17y=85
y=-5
Now plug the answer you got for y into one of the equaitons and solve for x;
-x-5(-5)=30
-x+25=30
-x=5
x=-5
