You can put this solution on YOUR website! Are the law units of equal number of attorneys before or after adding the 11.
If before the 11 are added then
3x+11=47
3x=36
x=12
12 attorneys in each unit originally.
Impossible unless a given law unit can contain a fractional part of an attorney. No possible interpretation of this problem has a total number of attorneys that is evenly divisible by 3.
