FIRST YOU PUT THIS EQUATION IN THE STANDARD LINE EQUATION FORM:
Y=mX+b WHERE m=THE SLOPE & b=THE Y INTERCEPT.
3Y=-1.5X+9
Y=-1.5X/3+9/3
Y=-.5X+3 HERE YOU HAVE A SLOPE=-.5 & A Y INTERCEPT=3. (0,3)
to find the x intercept set y=0 & solve for x
0=-.5x+3
-.5x=-3
x=-3/-.5
x=6 the x intercept (6,0)
