You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Is f(4) a zero of the function: f(x)=3x-12? why or why not.
Sub 4 for x
f(4) = 3*4 - 12 = 0
So it is.
-----------
How would I figure that out and what is a zero of a function?
It depends on the type of function. You can always sub a value and see if it is a zero.
