You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(2,3)(-5,-3)
Y=mX+b
m=slope=(y2-y1)/x2-x1)=(-3-3)/(-5-2)=-6/-7=6/7 is the slope.
3=6/7*2+b
3=12/7+b
b=3-12/7
b=21/7-12/7=9/7 is the y intercept.
y=6x/7+9/7

y+x=-7
y=-x-7

8x-(4x+6)=14
8x-4x-6=14
4x=14+6
4x=20
x=20/4
x=5 ans.
Proof:
8*5-(4*5+6)=14
40-(20+6)=14
40-26=14
14=14
