"Three per day for 10 years." The first step MUST be to make sure you have the same units in the entire problem. Also, you need to define how many days are in 1 year. Do you use the common definition of 365 days in a year? Over a period of as many as 10 years, there will be leap years, so 365.25 days in a year. Or you can use the banker's definition of 360 days per year.

This means you have 3*365 = 1095 per year, or 3*365.25=1095.75, or 3*360=1080 per year.

If x=10 years, then y = either 10950, or 10957.5 or 10800 items, depending upon your definition of a year. The graph will look like this, where the y axis represents total number of units produced, and the x axis is in years:
