Question 22653: What is the slope of the line whose ordered pairs are given in the table?
( Okay, this is a chart that I am reading off of.) In the x row it has -3,3,6, and in the y row it has 5, 7, 8. So bascially, it is -3,5, 3,7, and 6,8. What IS the slope of the line whose ordered pairs are given in the table?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! slope = m
y2-y1
______= slope
x2-x1
take your points and plug them in to get the slope. in this example the 1 and the 2's are just letting you know which set of points to use. 1 is the first x or y and 2 is the second . don't multiply. just put the second set of points in where I have a y2 or x2 and the first in the y1 and x1. ok see if that helps
