You can put this solution on YOUR website!
abs%287x-4%29-4=-11 Start with the given equation

abs%287x-4%29=-7 Add 4 to both sides.

Since the equation abs%287x-4%29=-7 is never true (note: remember, the absolute value of any number is always positive), there are no solutions to abs%287x-4%29=-7

This means that there are no solutions to the equation abs%287x-4%29-4=-11

Do you mean |7x-4|-4=-11???

If so, add +4 to each side:
|7x-4|= -11+4
|7x-4|= -7

Since an absolute value cannot equal a negative number, there is NO SOLUTION!
