You can put this solution on YOUR website! To use the substitution method, you must solve for one variable in one of the equations in terms of the other variable. The easiest one in htese would be to solve for y in the first equation. Since it's coefficient is either 1 or -1, solving for this variable will not end up with horrible fractions to substitute into the other equation.
