i dont understand how to do y=kx and graph?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! k is the slope of the line. It is a number. If it is positive the line rises from left to right. If it is negative it falls from left to right. If k=0 then the line is horizontal. If the line is vertical then the slope is undefined.
Here is a graph of a line in which k=3.
y=3x
If you a table for x and y here is what you get:
x y
3 9
2 6
1 3
0 0
-1 -3
-2 -6
-3 -9

Get a piece of graph paper and put a dot on the paper for each value for x,y in the table. Connect the dots. Now you have a line with a slope of 3 like the one below.
