*A grocer made a barrel of mixed nuts consisting of cashews and almonds. The barrel contained 62 pounds of nuts. There are twice as many pounds of cashews as almonds. Find the number of pounds of cashews and of almonds in the barrel.

I tried this:
let c= cashews
let a= almonds
c+a= 62 lbs
c= 2a
Then i tried:
2a+a=62
3a=62 , but that is incorrect. Please help me!? This question is from textbook Elementary and Intermediate Algebra for College Students
