5x+4=2x-12
5x-2x=-12-4
3x=-16
x=-16/3 ans.
Proof:
5*-16/3+4=2(-16/3-6)
-80/3+4=-32/3-12
-80/3+32/3=-12-4
-48/3=-16
-16=-16
