4x%2By+=+11 Solve this for y: y+=+-4x%2B11 and substitute into the first equation.
8x%2B2%28-4x%2B11%29+=+13 Solve for x.
8x-8x%2B11+=+13
11+=+13 No solution!
You can see why when you graph these two linear equations:
