Question 148334: Which line is the flattest (or is less steep)? Why?
y = 5x -6
y = 5x + 6
y = x - 3

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
These are all in the "slope-intercept" form, y = mx + b.
m is the slope, and the larger the value, the "steeper" the line.
Of these 4, the last one has the least slope of 1/2, so that's the "flattest", or the one neareast to horizontal (parallel to the x-axis).
