You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let x the usual speed
then (14/3)x=(14/3-1/3)(x+3)
then (14/3)x=(13/3)x+13
then (1/3)x=13 then x=39
R: x= 39 km/h

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let r be his usual speed
d+=+r%2At
d+=+r%2A%2814%2F3%29
d+=+%28r+%2B+3%29%2A%2813%2F3%29
Set the d's equal to eachother
r%2A%2814%2F3%29+=+%28r+%2B+3%29%2A%2813%2F3%29
multiply each side by 3
14r+=+13%28r+%2B+3%29
14r+=+13r+%2B+39
r+=+39
His usual speed is 39 km/hr
check answer:
d+=+r%2A%2814%2F3%29
d+=+39%2A%2814%2F3%29
d+=+182
d+=+%28r+%2B+3%29%2A%2813%2F3%29
d+=+42%2A%2813%2F3%29
d+=+182
OK

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let usual speed = x
So, 14/3x----------1
(14/3-1/3)(x+3)----2
14/3x=(13/30x+3
1/3x=13
x=13X3(by cross-multiplication)
x=39 Km/h
