the graph is a line
a line is defined by two points
so, find two points
easiest way is to find x and y-intercepts
y=2x-2......set y=0 and find x-intercept

0=2x-2
2=2x
x=1-> x-intercept is at (1,0)

y=2x-2......set x=0 and find y-intercept

y=2%2A0-2
y=-2-> y-intercept is at (0,-2)
