“Slope can be thought of as the average rate of change in one quantity per unit change in another. Use the concept of slope to answer the following question: the price of computers has been dropping for the past ten years. If a desktop pc cost $4200 ten years ago, and the same computing power cost $600 two years ago, find the rate of decrease per year. Assume that a linear model applies and round to the nearest cent.”
