Y=1/4x + 2/9. I need the inverse function
y=9+8x/36x
36xy=9+8x
36xy-8x=9
4x(9y-2)=9
4x=9/(9y-2)
x=9/4(9y-2) this will be inverse function of gien function

Bring the 2/9 term over to the other side of the equation:
y+-+2%2F9+=+1%2F%284x%29
Put the LHS over a common denominator:
%289y+-+2%29%2F9+=+1%2F%284x%29
Invert both sides of the equation:
9%2F%289y+-+2%29%2F9+=+4x
