Question 1042631: A car is traveling at a constant velocity. After two hours the car has traveled 90 miles. After five hours the car has traveled 225 miles. Assuming a linear equation fits this situation, what are the ordered pairs that you would use to find the linear equation?
Which OF these are the answer (90,2)and(225,5) or (2,90)and(225,5) or (90.5)and(5,225) or (2,90)and(5,225)

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Do you want points (x,y) for time, distance; or do you want as distance, time? The last choice in your list would be the normal way to show the description, depending on how want to assign the variables.

I saw your message after the posted response.
Can you now pick the correct set of points using the discussion I gave in this posting?
Do you know how to find the equation of a line if given two points of the line?
Remind yourself of the formula for slope of a line.
Remind yourself of the point-slope form for equation of a line.
Which set of ordered pair DID YOU PICK?
