You can put this solution on YOUR website! .
I don't know how to linear graph
X - y = 8
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From
x - y = 8
you can get
x-8 = y
by moving y from the left to the right and changing its sign, and
by moving 8 from the right to the left and changing sign.
But x-8 = y is the same as y = x - 8.
Now ask yourself: can you plot / graph y = x - 8 ?
You can put this solution on YOUR website! x-y = 8
so y = x-8
Generate values for y assuming certain values for x
When
x= 9, y =1 (9,1)
x=-2, y =-10 (-2,-10)
x=5, y =-3 (5,-3)
Plot the points and draw a line graph
That's it
I don't know how to linear graph
X - y = 8
Substitute 0 for x and solve for y to get the y-intercept. This will be in the form: (0, y)
Substitute 0 for y and solve for x to get the x-intercept. This will be in the form: (x, 0)
Join the 2 points!
That's all! No need to go crazy and take a day when this can be done in less than a minute
