4x+3y=26 

2x-3y=-14   Add 1st abd 2nd EQs

6x = 12

 x = 2  and y = 6  4x%2B3y=26+, 3y+=+26-8, 3y+=+18

CHECKING our answer***

2x-3y=-14

4 - 3(6) = 4-18 = -14  Checks!!!
