-14a+4=2a+2
-16a=-2
a=1/8

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-2[3a-2(4a-1)]+ 2 = 2(a+1)
-2[3a-8a+2]+2 = 2a + 1
3a - 8a + 2 = 2a + 1
-5a + 2 = 2a + 1
-5a + 5a + 2 - 1 = 2a + 5a + 1 - 1
1 = 7a
1/7 = 7a/7
1/7 = a
