You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You'll notice that the given expression is the difference of two cubes:
x^3 and 2^3
%28x%5E3-8%29=%28x%5E3-2%5E3%29
The difference of two cubes is factored as follows:
%28A%5E3+-+B%5E3%29+=+%28%28A-B%29%28A%5E2%2BAB%2BB%5E2%29%29
In the given expression: A = x and B = 2
%28x%5E3-8%5E3%29+=+%28x-2%29%28x%5E2%2B2x%2B4%29

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First factor out the cube root of x%5E3 and the cube root of 8.
That gives you a binomial times a trinomial. That trinomial cannot be factored anymore.
