Question 650882: I want to know how can 2000=20x+10y be considered a linear equation. Is it because you can make Y a linear function of X or because both standard and slope-intercept form can be used to graph the linear function.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It is linear because no exponents are in the equation.
For each change in x there is a linear change in y. (straight line change)
