You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x^2+y^2=49
y^2-2x=49
subtract line 2 from line 1
-y^2+2x=-49
x^2+2x=0
x(x+2)=0
x=0 or -2
using line 2 y^2-2x=49
y^2=49+2x x=0 y^2=49 y=+- 7
y^2=49+2x x=-2 y^2=45 Y= +-6.70 ANS

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x%5E2%2By%5E2=49
y%5E2-2x=49
multiply the second equation by -1
we get
-y^2+2x=-49
add this t the first equation
x^2+2x=0
x(x+2)=0
x=0 OR x=-2
Plug the value of x in first equation
For x=0 y^2=49
so y= +-7
(0,+/-7)
.....
For x=-2
y^2=49-4
y^2=45
y=+/-sqrt(45)
(-2,+/-sqrt(45))
