Solving sytem by elimination method

x-2y = -5

-3x-2y=-9



 -x+2y = 5    |Multiplying each term of the first equation by -1 to eliminate y

-3x-2y=-9

  -4x = -4

   1 - 2y = -5

      -2y = -6
